NOVATERRA Project will join the Open Research Data Pilot in Horizon 2020 and will work with its Data Management Plan (DMP) according to the guidelines and standards provided. Research data management in NOVATERRA will be performed in accordance with the guidelines on FAIR data management in Horizon 2020 program.
The dissemination of project data is subject to a dissemination and approval procedure as specified in the Consortium Agreement. The data management plan (DMP) is prepared and managed by the project coordinator (PC) and a Data Management Specialist (from IRTA), and WP leaders will help to gather information about data collected, processed and/or generated during the project. The DMP will describe the life cycle for data to be collected, processed, and generated by the project; it will ensure that research data are findable, accessible, interoperable and re-usable (FAIR principles), following the 29.3 Article of the Grant Agreement, taking also in consideration the open data concept “as open as possible, as closed as necessary”.
