With funding from the EU Research & Innovation Programme, NOVATERRA not only strives for innovation but also focus on creating conditions for upscaling and replication through effective knowledge dissemination. This involves sharing technical insights, best practices and project lessons.
Recently, SOGRAPE, a NOVATERRA consortium member, participated in a workshop on innovation in the wine sector organised by the Association for the Development of Viticulture in Douro (ADVID), and financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Programa de Desenvolvimento Rural 2014-2020 (http://www.pdr-2020.pt/).
The transformative workshop tackled key questions on technological innovation adoption, barriers, and impact, emphasising “No innovation without experimentation.” This marks a step in NOVATERRA’s mission, championing innovative technological solutions for the wine sector, boosting economic sustainability for farmers and wine companies alike.
