In the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), NOVATERRA’s objectives will make considerable contributions to GBF targets 7, 10, 11, and 21.

The updated GBF has been negotiated under the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity; it aims at changing the relationship between farming and nature conservation by proposing 4 goals and 23 targets, in a bid for signing States to become nature-positive by 2030 and to achieve the full recovery of nature and biodiversity by 2050.
