By developing precision farming tools, the NOVATERRA project demonstrated that it’s possible to control crop diseases with fewer pesticides, reducing costs and environmental impact. However, well-trained farmers are essential for using these technologies effectively. The main challenge remains increasing the adoption of these innovations among farmers to maximise their benefits.
