In the olive sector it is not very common to use technological systems.

Unaprol intends to raise awareness among olive growers by demonstrating the results that a Decision Support System (DSS)can achieve.

In NOVATERRA project, Unaprol communicated to its olive grower members the first results of the DSS and of the alternative products to common insecticides .

Unaprol has seen that the use of technological systems and alternative insecticides allowed lower costs for olive growers and a lower environmental impact.

To confirm these results Unaprol needs to continue using this Decision Support System over the next few years and help olive growers to improve their production and be more competitive on the market.
