We want to wish all NOVATERRA partners a Happy New Year: we are looking forward to another year working together to reduce the use of pesticides in vineyards and olive groves production.
Last autumn, the NOVATERRA General Assembly reunited in Bragança, Portugal, the representing partners from Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, France and Belgium. This first face-to-face meeting was the opportunity to meet the partners, get updates on the ongoing activities, exchange points of view and identify improvement strategies. During the second day, on-site visits were made to local olive fields in Mirandela (Casa de Santo Amaro) and vineyards in Quinta do Seixo. Furthermore, we welcomed the special involvement from the Stakeholders Advisory Committee representatives from olive and vine sector, as well as local stakeholders. We would like to thank everyone for their valued contributions. A special thank you to our Portuguese partners, especially for hosting this event, and to all partners for their involvement and participation.
We are now in the third year of the NOVATERRA project and we will be sharing more updates from the field about future workshops and initiatives. Keep following us on our website and social media channels to stay up-to-date on what is to come for NOVATERRA!
